Glacier Engagement Photographer | Colter and Courtney

Now that I finally have working internet, I get to share epic sessions again. I don't have enough words for how amazing this session with Colter and Courtney was. She found me on Wedding Wire and I knew right away we were meant to work together. An inquiry quickly turned into a friendship and I cannot wait for their August wedding here in Montana next year!!

Courtney and Colter Came all the way from Wisconsin for these. They could not have picked a better place. Montana has quickly become a part of their hearts and I can't blame them.

Montana Fall never disappoints even though it was short lived this year. This family just fits is perfectly.

Tara and Kenton Glacier Park Anniversary Session

Where do I even start? It has been a beautifully crazy wedding season, and I have not taken the time to blog much this summer, but I had to for this one. This session was a dream come true and I would not have had it any other way even though it was not what we originally planned on. My beautiful Montana has been on fireand we are just now starting to breathe fresh air again.

Tara contacted me a few months ago, and we have been planning this ever since. Tara and her husband Kenton came all the way from South Carolina to celebrate their second wedding anniversary.  She wanted mountains and the lakes and I was bursting with ideas, but the smoke had other plans. On this particular day, the smoke was at its worst. You could barely see anything.  Part of the Going to the Sun Road had been shut down due to wildfire activity. I totally smelled like a campfire when I got home!

I love this quiet little spot, and I was so happy they were so brave and willing to give it a go. Her dress could not have been more perfect with this stunning setting. Everything was so dreamy and romantic. We finished the evening at Apgar, and I was so blown away at how thick the smoke was, you really could not see anything. I felt like the focus was more on Tara and Kenton and the beautiful love they have together, and It was beyond perfect.

Melissa D {Maternity}

Gosh, I am so happy to finally have this INCREDIBLE session on the blog. JT and Melissa have been such good friends of ours, and I am so grateful to have been there to capture many special memories for them! They are expecting a BOY after 2 girls and I know that they could not be more excited!

Glacier National Park, yes this back drop is real. It always is perfect in all forms of nature. We had a great time venturing around and capturing these beautiful moments. Pictures like these make me even more certain how precious and beautiful these moments are. Pregnancy goes way to fast (She is probably laughing right now, saying "Yeah Right") But this is such a beautiful time. Before you know it, the house will be filled with a new baby. I can't wait to finally meet him Melissa! I hope you all love these!

Meggan T {Maternity}

Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy! We all had such a great time venturing out to Flathead Lake to take these beautiful maternity photos. I met gorgeous Meggan when we worked together at a local coffee shop here in Kalispell. I was pregnant with my first then! Crazy how time flies! Now our baby girls are only a couple months apart. I was so excited when she contacted me about doing her maternity photos! ( I may have done a little happy dance) We were all hoping for some sunshine, but you know Montana has its own mind! It was cloudy and cool, however it could not have been a more perfect day. The moodiness only added to the amazing emotion of these photos. Meggan it was an honor doing these and I l know you will treasure these for years to come ! You have such a beautiful and sweet family!

Laura S {Maternity}

Being able to do this beautiful maternity session was so refreshing and just plain amazing. Looking back through these, the simple way to put it, this is my PASSION. I love being able to document these amazing people in these precious  moments. Josef and Laura have always been so amazing and kind plus so much fun to capture!!! Its been such an honor to have captured big moments in their life such as, engagement, wedding, family sessions and now maternity. I am loving seeing their family grow and I can hardly wait to see their sweet little girl. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

Jessie R {Maternity}

Today, I thought this blog post would be most fitting. Jessie and Brandon welcomed their sweet little girl into the world yesterday, and my thoughts and prayers are with them as they are enjoying these sweet first precious moments today! I can hardly wait to meet her in person. This session turned out so beautiful. I (was) very pregnant myself and we ventured to West Glacier for the shoot! Talk about a perfect morning! Jessie was just a glowing momma to be! Congrats Brandon and Jessie! I am so happy for you both!

River and Laurel

Cold snowy days, cozy blankets, and good looking couples are the best kind of sessions! These two are such an awesome couple and they get more photogenic by the day! Laurel is a beauty inside and out and is truly a treasure to River.

Heagney Family

The Holiday season is so special in so many ways. Family is important to have together. I was so excited for the opportunityto meet and capture  this sweet family during Thanksgiving! They all have so much love for one another. Iam thankful for my job and what I do. I feel blessed to be a part of so many :)

Curt and Michelle

Talk about an incredible and breath taking session set in the mountains. I knew when I got home and went through all of these, I would be posting them on my blog. I was so thrilled that Curt and Michelle asked me to do photos this year! I have known them for a few years now, and I am so grateful to have them in our lives. They have been such a blessing and an inspiration. Curt and Michelle are happily married RN's and have the best dog in the world, "Roxy."  We have had a record breaking rain for the month of October, so sneaking in a break from the rain was difficult, but oh so worth it! Curt drove us to the top of the mountain where this Magic happened! I hope you enjoy seeing these! I truly have the best job ever.... what can I say?!!

Ben and Desiree Miller August 20, 2016

Gorgeous day for a beautiful wedding! Rustic and country, Ben and Desiree's day took place on a beautiful home West of Kalispell. From cowboy boots to sweet love, this wedding was a dream. As someone who loves big game hunting, I was so excited that Ben and Desiree asked me to capture their day! They both love the outdoors and they have the cutest dog ever! I enjoyed the happiness and the love shown this day. It truly was a day for blessings and celebration. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Miller!

Aliyah 7 Months

Being a mother has changed me in such an incredible way! I never knew how much love I could have for someone before she came! She teaches me so many things and she does not even know it. Her wonder and happiness for everything is amazing to me. Sometimes I think that we get too caught up in life and we forget to look at all the little things in life, the things that truly matter. That is what I learned. I get busy, I have my moments, its not easy. I just need to stop to take time for her. She matters more than anything. I realized that photography is way beyond taking a picture, it is capturing a moment otherwise gone. That is a part of why I love it so much, I want to carry those little smiles, giggles, and little tiny blue eyes forever. God has blessed us so!

My little blessing is now 7 months! She says "hi" and "momma" ! She is crawling everywhere and pulling herself up to stand on things. I am taken aback at how quickly they grow and learn. I truly had no idea haha! She loves carrots and sweet potatoes and is not very fond of bananas and pears!

These sweet little photos were taken in my back yard! I randomly looked out the kitchen and saw these blossoms on the other side of the barn! Score! I grabbed my old crate and quilt and put her in overalls. I gave to say, it turned out pretty cute!
