Matthew and Malynda - Glacier National Park Elopement- Two Medicine

I have the biggest heart…like EVER. I have all these things that I want to say about Matthew and Malynda and this beautiful romantic story. But with blogging, I feel like all my words go out the window. I keep re typing the story, trying to make it perfect, but I realized I don’t need to. The reason that I am blogging these two is because I want to share their gorgeous mountain elopement, and how much they both meant to me by sharing their day!

Matthew and Malynda are from Texas, and they chose getting married in Glacier National Park! I mean, because why not, its FREAKING gorgeous! And they found me! When I first met with them for coffee, I knew they were my kind of couple! They were so kind, adventurous, and had the BEST sense of humor!!

It was August, and it was wildfire season and smokey, but it did not even phase them! We still wound up with the best views and one of my favorite Locations: Two Medicine Lake. They said “I DO” on the shoreline and mountains all around, we shot gunned beers, and then we ventured around and got AMAZING photos.

I cannot thank you enough Matt and Malynda! I had the best time with you both and hopefully you make it up to Montana often!

Felicia & Jake Ferkin {Their Story}

"It’s crazy to look back on the past 5 years and how much we have grown on each other. We have brought out the best in each other and built our relationship from the ground up. We met in High School from a couple of friends that convinced us that we needed to meet. Although the first date was very awkward and looking back we probably didn’t think we would be marrying each other. As we grew and went through high school we became inseparable, we did everything together, spending all day and night together. We married our soulmates and wouldn't have it any other way. Jake joined the military after high school which put our relationship through a lot but we grew so much closer. Getting married at a young age can sometimes be hard but we new that we were meant to be. We knew that we wanted to spend our lives together. It’s crazy how close you can be to someone, or how someone can pretty much the same person as you are and you get to spend life together.

We got engaged in May of 2015 a month before he left for basic training. That year was full of obstacles and we had no idea what to expect. I remember going to his basic graduation and feeling so excited because we hadn’t talked in a couple months besides two phone calls the entire training. We only had two hours to spend together and we had to stay in a certain amount of miles. Although that was so exciting to spend those few hours together after months of being apart it was also so hard. After that we spent a couple of years apart with occasional times he would come home to visit for a week or so.

Although there’s times that we have to spend apart and there’s nothing we can do about it it causes you to really grow close to each other and love each other with all that you can. We recently spent 10 months apart and it was very hard not spending all the holidays together and birthdays and all the fun things you want to do with each other but we just remember how much we love each other and it’s worth the wait. I think the one thing that we have really learned from our relationship is that we truly love each other and that we have grown so close.

Just like any other relationship you will always have the ups and downs and you may not always be happy but as long as we have each other we can get through it. We are so so excited to spend this life together and experiencing all that life throws at us."

These two, let me tell you what, thier love is so sweet and so evident. The way that they look at one another says it all. The entire day was so beautiful and I was dancing a happy dance all day. I am so gratefeul for Jake and Felicia having me capture this special day. Leave your comments below and tell me your favorite part

Cheers!

Elsa

Chris and Kallai {September 9, 2017}

My heart is so excited to be able to share with you this special wedding day. From the first moment I met Chris and Kallai over coffee, we instantly had a connection. These two are so genuine and fun loving. They were always smiling and laughing with one another. One of the things I loved most about them, is the way they just love everyone around them. It was infectious.

When we pulled up to the wedding venue, my heart skipped a beat, everything was so incredibly breathtaking and beautifully put together. This wedding was one I cried so much.  Yes, I am a sucker for sweet love.I was completely amazed by the love everyone had for these two and the way they celebrated this day for them. I came to the wedding as the photographer, and I left feeling like a dear friend. And that friends, is why I treasure photography so much.

A Shout out to all of these amazing vendors who made this day perect!

Jeremy and Cherie {June 27, 2017}

This was a fairytale wedding. Every dream come true for these two. Everything was perfect and romantic, I could not have asked for a better setting.  I was so excited when Cherie told me about this venue. I used to drive by thinking it was so beautiful and I hoped to attend a wedding there someday, and my dream came true. The Abbott Valley Homestead was the gorgeous Montana ranch setting surrounded by glorious mountains. The wide open fields, old homesteads, and the wonderful people coming together to celebrate made it even more perfect. Being a part of an incredible love story like this one, is the reason I love what I do. I get to capture cherished moments like these. I was blown away by the happiness and love for this day. So many happy tears, hugs, and laughter. Cherie and Jeremy, you two were meant to be! Thank you a million times over for having me capture your day!
